Selection Screw Up’s – Round 14

Ready to laugh and point? Well you should be because here is the round 14 edition of Selection Screw up’s. Like all editions of Selection Screw up’s we will review some of the worst trades made last week and then laugh at th unlucky / unknowledgable coaches who have screwed up their week and possibly season. Lance Franklin and Jake Edwards are two of the five stars to make an appearance in this weeks edition so let’s get stuck into it.

We’ll kick it off with Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin, he scored a pathetic 78 last week and unfortunately for the 702 dream team coaches that picked him up his price also took a hit, a very large hit as he dropped $36,500 in value. Bad Luck guys….haha

Next up, we feel sorry…ok maybe not sorry becasue we are all competing against each other, anyway 247 coaches thought it would be a great idea to get Adelaide’s Scott Thompson into their sides, they forgot he was playing Geelong and payed the ultimate price, a lowish score of 80 and worse a price drop of $27,600.

We can only laugh at the poor coaches who decided to drop Jake Edwards. 51 of them to be exact decided to drop the Carlton youngster, however he showed them wrong by getting a 70 and boosting his price up $27,000.

Collingwood’s Shane Wakelin is not known as a massive dream team gun, perhaps that is the reason that 293 coaches decided to get rid of poor Shane. We have to have a laugh at them becasue Shane racked up a nice 99 and rose $16,000 inb value…haha.

Ok well that’s it for this week, be ready for more screw up’s next week!
