Dream Team Couch – 2008 AFL Dream Team Blog

Well after another normal week of footy including upsets, trashing’s, choking, suspensions, injuries and controversy, we are back to do it all again in round 11. Ive got yet again a couple of niggling suspicions on who will perform and plummet this week.

Troy Simmonds- Very disappointing from the man last week, he was made a mockery of up at the scg against the swannies on sunday. Scored 41 points, but dont worry, the big man will hit back hard. They play the crows down at the G, a) Simmo loves the G b) Crows ha…ve no decent ruckman. Doctor DJ Computer Analysis Dream Team Estimate Score: 97

Hawthorn – Take your pick this week, everyone one of them will rip it up, look for big scores coming from their big guns.

Marc Murphy- Had  a few quiet ones of recent, will bounce back. Doctor DJ Computer Analysis Dream Team Estimate Score: 110

Daniel Giansiracusa- Big game last week, wont back it up as well. Doctor DJ Computer Analysis Dream Team Estimate Score:80

Graham Johncock- A poor weak for johcock saw him get a measly 43, he is also another who will hit back though. Doctor DJ Computer Analysis Dream Team Estimate Score: 86

Sam Mitchell- The hawks captain would not have been pleased with his sides effort on the weekend, sammy is a man who doesnt like playing poorly and when he does he always backs it up. Had a poor game for his standards on the weekend. Doctor DJ Computer Analysis Dream Team Estimate Score:116

Jonathon Brown- I cant see him dominating this game, he has been dominating for a few weeks now and that knee injury must have hurt. Doctor DJ Computer Analysis Dream Team Estimate Score: 91

Tips

Roos vs Cats- Roos are a very underrated team and always have been, but i still cant see them winning tonight. The cats beat the roos in all facets of the game and losing Jones and Thompson wont help the roos case. verdict: Cats win

Rich vs Adelaide- Both teams having form slumps, adelaide has lost the birdman and i actually rate richmond a decent chance here, in fact im gonna tip them. They have a good record against the crows down here and they have the goods that can get them over the line. verdict: Richmond win

Eagles vs Swans- The two greatest rivals of recent face off again after the nasty encounter earlier this year. The swans smashed the eagles in this match, and whilst I suspect the margin will be closer this time it looks like the swans should get up, the eagles team is simply to depleted of quality players. Verdict: Swans win

Essendon vs Hawks- Bombers had a tough game interstate last week, so did the hawks. Hawthorn will be keen to prove they are still the real deal and smash the bombers. Verdict: Hawks win

Lions vs Dockers- Lions look good this year, they have found some form and their forward line is looking damaging. Dockers have a had a horror run of choking, hopefully this week the dockers just swallow and get the loss over and done with. Verdict: Lions win

Saints vs Dogs- Dogs got up against the sainst last time, i reckon they will do the same but this game could be a ripper. Verdict: Dogs win

Port vs Carlton- Port after a shaky start to the year have regained their composure and look the goods to get over the blues, suspect fev to kick a bag. Verdict: Port win

Melb vs Pies- The traditional queens birthday clash has the demons winning the past four, but i cannot this happening again, pies just to good. Verdict: pies win.
